How We Compared

We are not neutral. The CaricaBot is ours: we build it and we sell it. We are not going to pretend otherwise, so instead we show the criteria and the sources so you can check them yourself.
Third-party data comes from their own websites, consulted in August 2026. Where a manufacturer does not publish a figure, we say so rather than filling it in by eye.

The three criteria we use are the ones that change the decision: speed per person, because it decides how many people you serve; the business model, because buying and renting every time are not the same thing; and price transparency, because a contact form instead of a figure already tells you something.
The Units, One by One
CaricaBot. Built in Spain. Closes the cycle in 30-40 seconds, scales to 8 robots at once and sells from €4,990 + VAT with a software licence and a 3-year warranty included.
SketchBot. The best known name in the US market, positioning itself as the original of the format. It publishes drawing times in the higher band and gives no prices on its site: the route is the contact form.
Draw Me Bot (Fotomaster). One of the few that does sell the unit as well as renting it, within a broad photo booth catalogue. Aimed mainly at the North American market.
DrawMatic AIrtist. Sold mostly as a corporate event activation through rental companies, rather than as a unit for direct purchase.
What to Choose for Your Case
Doing one event with no plans to repeat? Rent. Any of the rental options will get your day covered without tying up capital.
If events are your business or you already run a photo booth company, buy. The unit pays for itself around the sixth activation and is margin after that. The options narrow sharply there, because much of the market does not sell.
If your events are in Europe, support weighs more than the brand name. A unit repaired on the other side of the Atlantic stops being cheap the day it fails mid-show.

Why Does Almost Nobody Publish a Price?
Because the dominant model is rental per event, where the price depends on hours, travel and staffing. In direct sales that excuse disappears: we publish our starting price, €4,990 + VAT.
Is It Better to Buy in Europe or Import from the United States?
The real difference appears the day something fails mid-trade show. A unit built and supported in Europe is attended to in hours; an imported one depends on shipping and time zones. On top of the import price come duties, freight and the cost of standing idle.
